GENERAL EPISTLES I.
A survey of the books of James, and I Peter. While the origins of the term ‘General’ might be subject to question, what is not in doubt is the general application of these letters to believers everywhere. These books are truly general in the sense of their broad-ranging application. While the Pauline Epistles are plainly the work of one individual, the General Epistles are the product of several different writers. Their scope encompasses every major theme of the Christian experience, even touching on a multitude of practical and temporal matters.
